Happy Tuesday everyone!
Can you believe it’s almost April!? It’s crazy to think that three months have already come and gone in 2016. Last night I was working on my Lara Casey Powersheets (a goal setting workbook) and there was a quote that really stood out to me about how Spring meant a fresh new start.
As I started to think back on these past three months I started to feel at ease of what I’ve accomplished. The word “overwhelmed” was way too familiar to me these past three months but when I actually stopped to think about everything that had happened I felt content. Can you have too many goals set for yourself? You bet you can! One major lesson I’ve learned since the New Year is If it’s not scheduled it isn’t real. There is so much truth behind that statement. Sure I’ve heard it said again and again but was I truly being disciplined in order to make my goals happen, not as much as I could. The reason I ever feel overwhelmed is because I have all these ideas and tasks I want to make happen but I haven’t taken the time to write them down and set a time when I plan to work on it. That must happen in order to have your goals come to life.
How are your New Year’s Resolutions looking? Do you feel proud of what you have accomplished so far or feel disappointed in yourself? I’m all about goals! I think there awesome because they give you direction and a vision to work towards too. Spring is here, think about it as a fresh new start for yourself. If you’re not where you want to be with your goals you set for yourself at the beginning of the year, no worries. Take a minute, pause and breath. Don’t focus on the things you haven’t yet accomplished but think about how far you’ve come and go from there. <3
I leave you with this…
What is one goal that you know you haven’t fully achieved? When can you schedule some time for it? Why is it important for you to see it through? Remember as Lara Casey says, cultivate what matters most. 🙂
Wishing you happiness, success and a lifetime of bliss!
