My Experience at Unleash The Power Within Event With Tony Robbins

On the morning of October 23rd, 2014, I was on my way to Dallas, Texas to what would be the most incredible four days I would have thus far in my life. The first time I heard about Tony Robbins I was instantly hooked! I wonder how someone can listen to his audios and read his books and not want to jump out of their seat! His energy, his passion, is simply unlike anything else. It’s simply amazing.

Let me begin my first saying thank you to my big sis, Ester, who actually surprised me with the tickets to go see Tony. Thanks sis 🙂 Best gift ever!

It would be impossible to put into words exactly what I experienced those four days one year ago. During the weekend I experienced so many emotions. I felt, excitement, joy, sadness, fear, hope, etc. Mentally, I was prepared, I had an idea what would be happening the next four days. At the very beginning of the event Tony told us to play all out throughout the weekend and that is exactly what I did. On the very first day, we were taught about the power of changing your state and how your state controls your story. I was amazed by the concept that I could literally change the way I felt about something and what something meant in an instant. During the entire day Tony was preparing us for what would happen that night. We would be walking over fire! Yup, that’s right. We would be walking directly on a bed of hot coals.(Check out Oprah herself doing the fire walk with Tony Here!) Tony shared with us that walking over fire symbolized you facing your fears. On that first night at UPW I walked over fire. It was amazing! I remember jumping for joy once I realized I had done it.

During those four days, I was able to discover what my limiting beliefs were and how to change them to beliefs that empowered me instead. I learned how to begin to truly love myself and to let go and forgive myself of any mistakes I might have made in the past. I learned about the power of pure energy and the importance of what we put into our bodies and how that affects the quality of our lives. On the last day of the event I remember feeling a bit sad knowing that this incredible weekend was coming to an end. I would miss the environment, the energy, and all those incredible strangers I had met. I wanted to continue being in that environment forever if possible! Then I came to the realization that I now was equipped with the knowledge necessary to create that environment every single day of my life.

I’m so incredibly grateful for the individuals like Tony who live to make the lives of other people remarkable. Tony’s passion to serve and to help others is extraordinary. I encourage you to attend a UPW event; it might just be the thing you need to have a breakthrough in your life. Cause remember the best investment you can ever make is in yourself. 🙂

Wishing you so much happiness, success and a lifetime of bliss!
