Maintain Your Motivation: My Best Tip!

Around five years ago, I discovered the world of personal development and I fell in love. <3 I was amazed at the wealth of knowledge on human potential that was out there that I never even had heard of! I can honestly say that the last five years of my life have been amazing. I’ve learned so much and I’ve grown as a person. When I discovered the world of personal development I felt like I had found a key to human happiness! My mind was awoken to soo many possibilities and I just wanted to share with others everything that I was learning in hopes that it too would bring them happiness.

Today I wanted to share with you all on how I’ve maintained my motivation for life since I first discovered the world of personal development. One thing I’ve done for quite some time now is one of the first things I will do every morning is listen to an inspiring or motivating audio or video. With today’s technology, it is so simple to listen to something that will input positive ideas in your mind. There’s tons of free videos on YouTube, podcasts on Itunes, audiobooks etc. Some days I have so many choices of information I want to listen to I have a hard time deciding!

How you start your morning is extremely important. Do yourself a favor and DON’T turn on the morning news! No no! You don’t want the first bit of information going into your mind be filled with news about murders, terrorist attacks, car accidents, etc. I’m not saying to not be informed but to simply avoid learning about the horrific events happening around the world first thing in the morning. Eventually, the news will find its way to you through today’s technology and how fast news travels through social media channels.

When you listen to something inspiring and motivating it will implant ideas subconsciously in your mind that might come in handy on that day if you come face to face with a challenge.

I wanted to share with you guys today some of  my favorite YouTube videos, speakers, and podcasts I love to listen too. I’m excited to share with you and hope you will check them out! 🙂 Here they are in no particular order.

Marie Forleo

marie fok..ok…I have to say Marie is most likely my favorite person to listen to! Probably because I can relate to her story soo much. She inspires me to be a better woman. She has a YouTube Channel where she has weekly episodes every Tuesdays. The topics she discusses range from business, relationships, to spirituality.  What can I say I love Marie! Check her out I’m pretty sure you’ll love her just as much as I do.

Lewis! I think of him as the type of guy you can sit with for hours talking about life. His pretty awesome. I listen to his podcast on Itunes called The School of Greatness. (don’t you just love the name!) He has new episodes every Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. He interviews some of the best thought leaders in the world. His topics also range from business, health, relationships, etc.

I absolutely loved this post and your video so much. I don’t ever watch the news and in the rare moments I see a news story on any of my timelines I try to either hide it or just keep it moving. Not to be ignorant of current events, but because there is already so much negativity happening that being aware and educated on it is totally different than being consumed by it. I agree with you so much and have a few accounts I love to look at in the morning after reading that encourage and motivate me to have the best day I can.

    Love your blog!
